It was dream come- true as we stepped into Jharkhand state with the permission and blessing of bishop of Gumla his excellency Rt. Rev. Paul Lakra. He granted permission to our sisters to stay in the presbytery at Kapodih parish in a remote village. Sisters began to render their voluntary service in the diocesan Hindi Medium primary school, parish work, faith formation, village animation program and preparing children for receiving Sacraments. Later on a plot of land was given by the diocese near the parish church and new convent was constructed along with a dispensary and a wing for religious formation of the candidates. The blessing of the same was done on 5th June 2011. At present four sisters are working there with great enthusiasm countering challenges and difficulties of being in a remote, underdeveloped place surrendered by forest and hills. The Pioneer members of this challenging mission were Sr. Jincy, Sr. Reema, Sr. Sheeba Rose, Sr. Mini Maria.
