Vidisha is 60 km away from Bhopal, the capital town of Madhya Pradesh and 5 km away from the world tourism heritage 'Sanchi Sthupa'. Late bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Clemense Thottungal CMI of Sagar Diocese invited us to begin the convent and a school at Vidisha.   Initially the sisters stayed in a rented house and started the school in 1970 with 7 children.   Later the present convent and school was built and shifted to the new building in 1971.   The main apostolate here is education, family visit, Pastoral work and non-formal education for the children of economically and socially backward class.  The pioneers who had extended dedicated service here were Mother Mary Agnes,Sr.Agila and Sr. Lissette
