Educators Committed to Promote the Kingdom Values

 Education is one of the major apostolates of our province.  64 of our dedicated, trained and skilled sisters are engaged in the teaching ministry in different parts of our country.   We have 43 sisters teaching in seven educational institutions run by three registered societies. 20 sisters are rendering fruitful service in 10 educational institutions run by different dioceses.  One sister is teaching in the Kinder Garten in Bonn, Germany.

 3.      Christu Jyoti Sr. Sec. School, Baraut, U.P

 Education is the most liberating forces of our times. It was one of the main objectives of beginning a new mission station with an English Medium school at Baraut in Baghpat district under Meerut diocese in U.P.  It is a middle class agricultural semi rural area with little scope for quality education.  The people of Baraut came forward with an earnest request to start an English medium school which was materialized on 1st July 1995 with 42 students in a rented house.  At present the school has over 2000 students on roll with 65 staff members who transform the lives of the students by molding and shaping their personalities with moral values and national ethos. Rev. Mother Rosalind, Sr. Darly Therese and Rev. Sr. Rani were the pioneers of this prestigious institution.  The biggest achievement of the school is the beginning of Sneha Sadan a boarding for the poor girls  for the welfare and educational excellence of poor children from economically backward families of Utter Pradesh.  At present 23 students are being provided free accommodation, food, clothing, study materials and quality education with moral values along with  aimed at faith formation.

  4.      Christu Jyoti Convent School, Baghpat, U.P

 Christu Jyoti Convent High School, Baghpat had its beginning in the year with the objective to provide religious formation to the young sisters.  When the convent was erected in Baghpat, people of the locality came forward with their strong desire to open an English medium school as the area was backward and they lacked proper educational facilities.  Late Rev. Mother Demetria, Late Mother Breezia, Rev. Mother Leander and Sr. Lisset were the pioneer missionaries.   In 1986 the school was  started in its own building with a small group of children.  Currently it has ..students and .staff members.

The biggest achievement of the school was the beginning of a home for the education and training of the differently able poor girls.  The girls are given free education, facility for Physio-Therapy, corrective surgery and support for their mental as well as physical development.

 5.      Christu Jyoti Convent, High School, Garmukteshwer, U.P

Christu Jyoti convent high school, Garhmukteshwer of Gaziabad district, U.P in Meerut diocese was opened at the invitation of the local people of Garhmukteshwer as it was educationally backward.  Under the able guidance of the Vice Provincial Rev. Mother Abraham the school started in a rented house on 31.10.1998.  Later on the school was shifted to the present building which has about ..students on its roll.  There are around staff members who are engaged in motivating and nurturing the students and training them to be useful and productive citizens of this nation.   Sr. Annie Rubi, Sr. Grace and Sr. Lucia were the pioneers of this premier institute.  One of the notable achievements of the school is the opening of Christu Jyoti Hindi Medium Non- Formal education centre in nearby campus owned by the school.  Around poor students are enrolled here studying upto VIII class in U. P Board.

 6. St. Joseph's Convent School, Arnia, Jammu & Kashmir

 The local people of Arnia, Jammu district which comes under Jammu - Srinagar diocese met then Rt. Rev. Dr. Hipolytus Kunnunkal, the bishop and expressed their strong desire to open a catholic English medium school in their locality. His Excellency initiated us to begin the school in Arnia which is only 5 k. m away from the Pakistan Boarder.  St. Joseph Convent School was begun on 15thth March 1997 in a room attached to the church building.  At present the school has about 1150 students on roll.  It has 36 staff members under whose leadership and constant care the students receive quality education, character formation and moral values which guide them towards the eternal truth.  Rev. Sr. Litsy, Sr. Suma and Sr. Maria were the pioneers of this optional of excellence.

One of the commendable achievements of the school is the beginning of a St. Ann girls`s boarding for the poor catholic girlsl in the year 2012 for providing quality education and faith formation to the girl`s of Jammu-Srinagar diocese.

 7.      St. Paul Play School ( Kinder Garten) , Rajnagar , Palam, Delhi

 St. Paul Play School was the outcome of the desire of the neighbors of Seraphic FC Convent Rajnagar, Delhi in order to take care of the little one of the working mothers of Palam colony.  It was opened in the year 1995.  At present about 145 .tiny tots are on its roll who are picking up not only the three R`s of education but moral and social values.  There are 8 staff members who have joyfully dedicated themselves to take care of the little ones. The pioneers were Rev. Mother Prisca, Sr. Tresa jancy, Sr. Josphine and Sr. Lissette.
